Strictly Inc to me was one of the best Tony albums of all time and it's a shame that it wasn't the huge hit that it deserved to be in a fairer world. The songs have so much energy and vibrance. "Island in the Darkness" is beautiful. Jack works well with Tony. John Thompson's drumming is great. Tony's sounds at the time were astounding. What are others' thoughts?

Just an all-around awesome album -- well produced and engineered, melodies and rhythms that are the perfect balance of simple and complex. I can't say I love Hues' vocals, but assuming he helped write, then it was definitely worth it. Tony's lyrics can be... pretty dumb, at times. Musically though, he is unmatched. Of course, that goes without saying, if you're reading this forum. smiley

Island In The Darkness proved he could do an extended piece in his own right when he really put his mind to it.

A shame about the so-so cover art, though!
