"Water out of Wine" is one of the standouts for me on this item. A brilliant song about depression, beautifully sung by Jayney Klimek.

One of Tony's favorite songs off of the album too. It's a gorgeous track, indeed.

I can't stand Jayney Klimek. But Still was the first solo Tony album that I got, and it had a huge effect on me (at least the rest of it). Fish's contributions were particular favorites of mine. "Another Murder of a Day"... I just loved how it evolved.

Red Day, the Gift and I wanna change the world are my faves. This album turned me on to Nik Kershaw. His 'Anthology' collection is pretty cool. It was rumored that Fish was going to take over for Phil on the last Genesis album but they wanted to maintain all publishing/writing credits and Fish wasn't keen on that...that was the scuttlebutt at the time anyway

Nik Kershaw and Fish I think are the best singers on the album. At times Fish gets a little melodramatic for me and doesn't quite use the inflections in the words the way I would have done them, but his voice carries power. Nik Kershaw's voice is wonderful and he handles the challenging melodic line in Red Day on Blue Street brilliantly. Nik is excellent singing The Final Curtain. His voice really gets into the melody and the words of the lyrics. It's not just singing for technique, he actually bites into the lyrics. Certainly made me a fan of Nik when I heard Still.

Still was my first, so it will always be special. I especially like Red Day, The Gift and I Wanna Change...
I really like the lyrics. The solo on Still It Takes Me By Suprise I could listen to all day. Could do without Jayney Klimek, though I do find her easier to listen to than on Bankstatement...
